The first day of the conference took the form of an open meeting, allowing stakeholders to share ideas and strategies for dealing with the growing phenomenon of environmental crime. The open stakeholder meeting was attended by NGOs, academics and other non-governmental professionals along with dedicated environmental law enforcement officers from countries all over the world. The remainder of the conference allowed environmental law enforcement officers the opportunity to discuss and explore compliance and enforcement initiatives.
